THE RETURN OF STEWART WARNER'S "GREEN LINE™" GAUGES
POPULAR LINE ORIGINALLY USED IN SHELBY MUSTANGS, YENKO CAMAROS, CORVETTES
Stewart Warner has reintroduced "Green Line™" gauges, so named for the iconic green trim that surrounds the silver disk in the center of the gauge. Originally spec'd out as original equipment on classic muscle cars including the Ford Shelby GT Cobra, Yenko modified Camaros and Corvettes, the product line has earned cult status, as evidenced by the skyrocketing value of authentic Green Line™ gauges traded on e-Bay, for example.
There are 13 part numbers, including 2-1/16" and 2-5/8" gauges, a 160 MPH speedometer and 8,000 RPM tachometer. Derived originally from Stewart Warner's venerable Deluxe™ line, Green Line™ gauges feature classic white and green graphics, with an orange pointer with silver hub. Of particular note, the new Green Line™ ammeter includes the original slotted-pointer design from the 1960's.
The Green Line™, unveiled at the NSRA Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky, will be featured at SEMA, October 31-November 3, 2006, Las Vegas, Nevada, booth 22117. According to Tim Joyce, General Sales & Marketing Manager, Stewart Warner Performance Products, "Stewart Warner responded to overwhelming consumer demand by bringing the 'Green Line' back, and we even retained the original part numbers. Moreover, we've kept the original design intact and ensured the highest quality possible. There really is no substitute for a genuine Stewart Warner product like this one."
